Blame it on Brazil is brought to you by Fabio Marton, Brazilian journalist and writer.
I was born in São Paulo in 1978, lived in Curitiba from 1992 to 2003 and moved back to SP after college. I currently write mainly about Science and History on magazines as Superinteressante, Galileu, Guia do Estudante, Aventuras na História and others. I also have my first book to be published in next May or June (2010).
I’m Italo-Brazilian, atheist, straight and individualist libertarian. I know and respect (some of) Brazilian music, but my musical identity lies in punk-leaning rock’n’roll. I also have a fondness for geekish stuff as videogames and comics. Actually, I’ve learned to speak English by playing videogames with a pocket dictionary by my side.
Here are some other sites of mine, both in Portuguese and English:
- Not Tupy (PT) - my main weblog
- A Rã Cinza (PT) - a humor weblog
- A manhã subterrânea (PT) - “The morning underneath”, an incomplete sci-fi book
- Herr Doktor (EN) - my abandoned Uncyclopedia profile
- Herr Doktor (EN) - my blip.fm station
- My twitter (PT)
- My Facebook (PT and EN)
- My professional (PT) website
